New Tampa is a rather peculiar neighborhood of
Tampa that encompasses a section of Tampa as well as parts of Hillsborough and
Pasco Counties.
New Tampa is one of the largest neighborhoods in
Tampa making up 24 square miles within the City of Tampa. The area has grown
rapidly since it was annexed by the City of Tampa in 1998.

currently being planned or are already under way. Some of New Tampa's large,
